FAQ

Tickets & Registration

How can I register for workshops and milongas?

When the registration is open, the link is available in the Registration section of the webiste.

Where and when can I collect my tickets

Purchased ticket packages will be issued during all afternoon and evening milongas throughout the festival. When collecting the tickets, you will be asked to show an identity card or another document that confirms your identity.

There are no physically printed tickets for the workshops. A list of workshop participants is kept and it will be available at the entrance to the lessons at 26 Berka Joselewicza Street.

I don’t remember what milongas and workshops I signed up for during registration. Where can check it?

The list of your milongas and workshops was sent in the e-mail, in which you also received payment details. Look in your mailbox for messages from krakusaires@gmail.com also check the SPAM folder.

Where is the full program of the festival?

We keep the most up-to-date version of the program in the Schedule and Workshops sections.

Can I sell my ticket to another person?

Yes, you can sell single tickets or complete packages to other people of the same role (as organizers we attach importance to the role balance). We encourage participants to use Facebook page of the event to buy and sell tickets.

We do not mediate in the sale of tickets unless it concerns the transfer of a whole package.

If the owner of a ticket package wants to sell the ticket to the first festival milonga (usually on Thursday or Friday) and has no physical means of giving the ticket to the other person, we will assist in handing it over. Please contact us at info@krakusaires.com

Transport, Venues and Accomodation

Where do the workshops take place?
How can I get from the Airport to the city center?

It takes 20 minutes by train directly from an airport building to the city center. The train goes every 30 minutes. Uber or taxi is also very cheap – ca. 20–30 PLN.

What kind of accommodation do you recommend?

Hotel Miodowa on the Miodowa Street or Hotel Wyspiański on the Westerplatte Street. We also recommend checking Airbnb – it’s a great opportunity to stay in one of the historic buildings in the city center.

Does Uber or Bolt operate in Poland?

Yes, both apps work here.

How to get to Wieliczka Salt Mine and back?

We recommend a train to Wieliczka (from the main railway station) or the 304 bus.

For more info about the railway, see the website. For busses, we recommend jakdojade app.

There is little to no public transport at night, so Uber or taxi are the best options when coming back to the city.

Taxi Wieliczka:
+48 697 125 529
+48 509 661 189
+48 537 375 008.

The entrance to the Salt Mine is via the Daniłowicz Shaft.

What are the conditions in the Salt Mine?

The underground temperature is close to regular room temperature. There’s a spacious cloakroom, a restaurant, toilets, and a smoking zone.

What time and how can I get underground?

At the Daniłowicza Shaft, there is an elevator that takes people underground. The exit from the elevator is very close to the dancing hall.

The elevator can fit 36 people at once.

The elevator starts going underground at 20:45. From that moment till 22.30 (just before the show) the elevator will be working every time a group of at least 10–15 people has gathered. It will also be possible to take the return route during this time.

After 22:30 the elevator will be leaving every full hour.

At the end of the milonga, it will be going more often, to transport people going back.
